I’m not one to let the grass grow under my feet. While you may not see me out there front and center, I am most likely behind the scenes moving from project to project. There is always something going on with me, either a new business or collaboration or some project I’m working on. Today, I am finally coming clean and letting you all know what I’ve been doing the past few months. I am really excited to announce that I am now partnering with some really incredible and inspiring women.
I have partnered with Laura Filipowicz to bring you the ConnectHER Media Annual Conference. ConnectHER has held a special place in my heart since I attended by first conference 3 years ago. Laura and I have the same philosophy: provide women with the tools and education they need to move their business forward, whether that business be their blog, a product, or a service. We pride ourselves on finding women who are innovative and inspiring and bringing them together in this exclusive boutique conference. My official title is CMO (Chief Marketing Officer), but I will be involved with all aspects of planning and promotion. We are excited for the future of the conference and are looking to break out of the Southern California area and bring our conference to women across the country.
ELLA Startups
While I am helping produce the ConnectHER Media Conference, I will also be partnering with Alicia Gonzalez in ELLA Startups, a new company encouraging women to build, develop, and grow their own business. This has been a dream of mine for a long time… being that support for women to take hold of their dreams and make them happen. We’ll be providing business tools, consulting services, a directory for professional services, online education and e-books. ELLA will be the source for helping you get your business off the ground.

With this company and conference working together to give you what you need to become your own boss, we can redefine what “working woman” really means.
