How often do you eat pizza?
If you were in my family, you’d be eating it as often as possible. It’s definitely our family go-to food for everything… when we want a snack, when I don’t feel like cooking, when we are celebrating something. It’s kind of always been that way. Even when we were kids, pizza was that one food that everyone loved and nobody complained about. The fact that nobody liked anything but plain cheese was a plus.
When I went to college, pizza became more than just an occasional meal, it was a staple. Being in design school meant late nights and little money. Pizza was it! There was always pizza around. Pretty sure we’d all have starved without it.
Today, my three kids could probably eat pizza every single day if I let them. The problem is that they all like different toppings on their pizza… so that means loading up the freezer with Red Baron so everyone has something to grab that they like. (And even after all these years, I still love a good cheese pizza.)
Our favorite pizza time is usually Saturday night! We try and do dinner at home and a DVD movie at least once a week. Remember when you were a kid and the movies were on Betamax? Oh no… did I just date myself? Okay, maybe you’ll just remember the clunky video tapes. My kids don’t even remember those. All they know are DVD’s. Crazy, right? In fact, who needs to rent or buy a DVD anymore when so many movies can be seen on TV or the internet. Times have sure changed. Good thing there is still pizza!
My brothers and I circa 1976.
My girls circa 2016.
Did you know that Red Baron was celebrating their 40th year? It’s the pizza that has great crust (because if pizza doesn’t have great crust… I won’t eat it) and amazing sauce and cheese. It’s the combination of flavors that makes this a pizza everyone can enjoy!
Travel through time and enjoy the Timeless tradition of pizza night, as showcased with traditions, fads and trends from the four decades that Red Baron has been around.
