I took advantage of my kids’ long Memorial Day weekend off from school to take them strawberry picking. I have to admit, I’ve never done it myself before so I was doing it as much for me and it was for them. We’re pretty lucky that we have the ability to pick our own fruits and vegetables here in Southern California. Where I live, it’s only about 45 minutes to some of the most amazing farms and groves around.
Last Friday, we chose to drive over to Underwood Farms out in Moorpark, California. There isn’t much to say about picking strawberries other than the fact that there is something pretty scrumptious about eating fresh, bright red strawberries right out of the fields.
Those strawberries look amazing! I had no idea there was a place like this right here at Moorpark! Great pictures overall!
