Coffee Talk and a Big Giveaway! (COMMENTS CLOSED - GIVEAWAY OVER)

If you know anything about me at all, you know that I am a huge coffee addict. I’m talking several cups of coffee every day. I had been a Starbucks devotee for a really long time until I realized that the money I was spending on $4 cups of coffee could have been used in a much more productive way: like getting my nails done and going shopping. So, I got myself a brand new coffee maker and started trying out different brands of coffee at home. Turns out that I really love making coffee every morning. Not only is it less expensive, but it tastes just as good (actually, it tastes better) and I can make several cups at a time so I always have coffee ready when I need it.

Back in December, I was sent the most gorgeous basket of coffee to review. Turns out Smart & Final, a warehouse-like store that is located in California, Nevada and Arizona, was getting ready to unveil a new line of gourmet coffee in their stores. Ambiance Premium World Class Coffee (doesn’t that just sound fabulous?) comes in not one, not two, but six flavors. They come already ground which was perfect for me since grounding up my own coffee is annoying and a pain in the neck. They also come in different strengths, ranging from mild to dark flavors, so there really is something for everyone.

The flavors are House Blend, Gourmet Supreme, Kona Style, Hazelnut, French Vanilla and French Roast. I tried them all… oh yes I did. My husband tried them… and my in-laws tried them. I think the general consensus was that our favorites were House Blend, Gourmet Supreme and the Kona Style. These were the mid-range coffees, not too mild and not too dark. They fit our tastes the best. They are delish. My sister-in-law, who is a serious Starbucks coffee drinker, told me that she would totally drink these in place of her usual lattes.
