| My Favorite Picture |
After 10 years we still didn’t have a family portrait. The years go by so fast and while we were busy taking pictures of the kids, we never found the time to have a picture taken of the whole family. So, one day we enlisted the help of David’s Uncle and we all set out for Point Dume in Malibu, California to take pictures. Three of the pictures we took that day are hanging over our bed. This is one of them. This is the picture I always wanted to have and for some reason that day it just fell right into my hands. The girls were all standing there looking out towards the Pacific and I knew that was the one.
I love the beach. I love my kids. This is my happy place.
Love it! There is something about the beach, white shirts and jeans that just go together so well. My sister and I took a few similar pictures as this one for one of our parents anniversaries and they really loved them. I can understand so much better now why. They truly are beautiful memories.
My kids are my happy place too!
