I don’t usually write posts on Sunday. I don’t have a reason, I just feel like sometimes I need a break. This morning, though, I’m up at 6:30 am because the new puppy is whining and wants to be let out… and I’m pretty sure the kids will follow. Plus, the time change makes it bright and sunny at 6:30 am and that just makes it almost impossible for me to go back to sleep.
So I thought I’d fill you in on the projects I’ve got going on. If you haven’t seen everything I’ve been up to… take a look. And if you have… well, take another look and help me get my stats up. (*smile*)
1. I’ve been working as an Ambassador for the Smart & Final California Milk Advisory Board Campaign. Wow, that’s a mouthful. It’s been so wonderful to really try and make a difference for our Southern California schools. You can read all about what I’m doing HERE but I thought you’d like to know that we are still working on collecting Real California Dairy seals at our school AND I was lucky enough to actually WIN $200 for my school. That’s right, the contest Smart & Final is holding to put some real money into the hands of our schools is giving mine $200. I was so excited that I could do this for them.
2. I have also been working on the Peet’s Coffee Campaign where Collective Bias asked people to switch out their regular home-brewed coffee for Peet’s. The fact that I brew coffee at home every morning made this a great campaign to work on.
3. I have been working with some really amazing companies, You Are Loved, a non-profit organization spreading the word about the dangers of Toxic Shock Syndrome and Be Prepared Period, a site dedicated to education women on all things feminine hygiene. I highly recommend you take a look and check out what these two sites have been doing to help educate all women. You can read my posts HERE and HERE.
4. And if you haven’t had a chance to see what Striiv is all about, take a look at my review. This would make a great holiday gift… and I’m not even getting a commission off of it.
5. In case you missed any recipes the past few weeks, here is what I’ve been cooking up.

Eggplant Parmesan

Challah

Banana Bread
