SNOW IN SOUTHERN CALIFORNIA!!! Yes, it has finally happened. And I’m not talking about a few flurries folks. It actually snowed… a lot… and stuck…. to cars, palm trees, patio furniture. The kids built snowmen and threw snowballs at each other. Since my kids are native Californians, they don’t get many opportunities to see falling snow. At the mall, you’d think the sky was falling down… with everyone snapping pictures on their smart phones. What is going on here? This isn’t why I moved to California. I came for the warmth and sun… neither of which happened to be available on the menu yesterday.
Now I realize that for most people, this is NOT a big deal. I feel for those of you caught up in the east coast blizzard… I really do. But for someone who moved clear across the country to escape the cold, snowy winters, I am now considering moving to Hawaii. Please, oh please, let it not snow there.

Holy Cow! I saw a tweet from someone else in SoCal about snow. That is CRAZY! (But kinda fun)

I think you're safe if you move to Hawaii…
