I’m writing about something random today. Why? Because I want this so badly and I can’t have it and it’s driving me crazy.

Restoration Hardware Sofa

This is the sofa I want. I want it just as is. In a beige linen fabric. I want the rolled arms and the deep seat. It’s the Belgian Classic Roll Arm Slipcovered Sofa and it’s on sale at Restoration Hardware for $2300. That’s all. $2300. About $2,000 more than I have to spend. Awesome!

I have champagne tastes on a beer budget. It sucks!

Of course, I can probably find something similar for less. I might be able to get something comparable (but without the roll arms and linen slipcover) for closer to $1500. Still… it’s a lot of money and it wouldn’t be the ONE I really want. Sigh.

I supposed I could take up a collection… but seriously… there are people starving and living on the streets so I hardly think my sofa problem is going to be on anybody else’s mind. Still… I want it. Badly. Just one of those things. Since I’m not going to have it any time in the near (or even distant) future, I just thought I would complain a little.

I want something I can’t have. I’m sure everyone wants something they can’t have.
