Last winter I did my first “My Favorite Things” post and I had so much fun doing it that I wanted to do another list for this year. During the year, I am always looking for new products that just scream “Wow” to me. You know, the ones where you just want to tell all your friends about how much you love them. Well, that’s what I’m doing. I want to share with you some of the things that I use or that I have or that I find utterly amazing.
I first heard about Striiv during BlogHer 2011 and couldn’t wait to get my hands on these little devices. I wasn’t disappointed. Striiv was kind enough to send me one and I am really loving using it every day. More than a pedometer, it calculates your steps, stairs, miles, calories, and energy. You get workout challenges, the ability to donate to charity, and digital games that you play in conjunction with your workouts. Super fun and a great gift idea for anyone into fitness.
PAPER COTERIE
Paper Coterie is another company I was introduced to at BlogHer 2011 and I am just in love with their products. I received a complimentary custom journal with my name on it during the conference and I also received a discount code to order any other product on their website. I was a little enamored with their Recipe Books and since my Mother’s birthday was coming up, I created a custom recipe book for her. The book included all the family recipes we love as well as pictures of the grandkids. It was just beautiful. The products are high quality, affordable and they have super fast shipping. Amazing place to purchase gifts this holiday.
One of the things my blogging career has allowed me to do is help to promote women-owned businesses. I met Monica from The Boutique Kids a few months ago when we worked on a large MomPact giveaway. She sent me my first set of Connectz and I have honestly never had so many amazing compliments on them. They are seriously the cutest accessories around and the beauty of them is that can be used and re-used on flip flops, headbands, pet collars, or anything else you can think of. Easy to use and they come in a variety of fabric or synthetic flowers, I KNOW you will want these for the holidays. Perfect as stocking stuffers. Check below for giveaway!
One of the biggest names in music in 2011 is Adele. Her voice is amazing and her songs deep with feeling. I can listen to her over and over again and never get tired of her songs. Her latest release is “Adele - Live at The Royal Albert Hall”. This Two-Disc set contains a DVD with the full length concert film PLUS a CD with all of the concert songs. Love it. Get it! As much as I adore my iPhone and MacBook Pro, I am just not the type of person who can organize themselves online. I am the old-fashioned pen and paper kind of gal. I need a book I can keep on my desk or carry with me where I can write everything down. MomAgenda came into my world a few months ago when I was searching for the perfect calendar organizer. MomAgenda was having a 50% discount on their organizers and I decided to order one and give it a try. It’s my new favorite accessory. This book is amazing and has everything I need: monthly calendar pages as well as weekly pages. Plus, it gives you plenty of room to organize your family and blog posts (which I desperately need). Another perfect gift to give… or to keep for yourself.
Last year I traveled to Boston (from California) to a wedding. A formal wedding. In the cold. I had the dress, but I had absolutely nothing appropriate to wear over it. I scoured the stores and ended up purchasing a black trench coat. It has quickly become one of my favorite pieces of clothing. I think trench coats were always underrated but guess what? They’re back! They don’t only come in black and beige anymore… you can get them in tons of fun colors. They are really the perfect jacket since they can be casual or dressy. They look great over jeans or over a skirt or dress. I just love them!

RUFFLED SCARF
I’m not the kind of person who goes for the trendy looks or fads, but the ruffled scarf is one trend that I absolutely adore. A simple ruffled scarf looks good on anybody. Seriously. It’s lightweight, goes with any outfit and let’s face it, we could all use a little trendy in our wardrobes. Scarves range in price from a few dollars to hundreds but this is one of my favorites. It’s a gray/taupe colored scarf that I got at Pier 1 and they currently have all their scarves on sale for 20% off. So what are you waiting for? Go shopping! Check below for giveaway!
If you haven’t seen Knock Knock, I highly recommend you check out their website. It is full of fun, quirky and witty stationary products. They are tons of fun to have around. I would be lost without my “All Out Of” and “Do Your Chores” pads. I have them up on my refrigerator so I can just tear a page off when I’m done with it and start over again. I have given these out as gifts on several occasions and there are so many to choose from you are bound to find something to fit every personality. Check below for giveaway!
Giveaway Info: Make sure to leave me a comment letting me know which giveaway you are interested in. You may choose to list more than one but only one winner per item will be chosen.

The scarf would be nice! I have to say I love that trench coat and the mom organizers! I know with phones and everything it should be digital, but nothing like having the ability to write something down. Power won’t be out then! lol
I’d love to win the connectz or Adele or scarf!
I’m also a pen and paper kinda girl. Love organizers, and the trench coats are super cute too! Great ideas, I must try this coming year
The Striiv thing is a neat idea, especially if you don’t have a Nike+, etc.
