Every year our local aquatic center puts on a Polar Plunge for anyone who wants to brave the cold waters on the first day of a new year. Last year we decided not to participate because it was one of the coldest days we’ve seen in California. Good thing we didn’t go, because 2 days later we actually had snow here in Santa Clarita. This year it’s going to be close to 90 degrees and it was at least in the high 60′s this morning. The girls woke up early, put on their bathing suits and off we went.
