A Better Way to Shop - TheShelf.com

Okay, I’ve hinted at something that might just change your life. At least, your shopping life. Especially at this time of year, we are all trying to juggle our finances so we can make the most of our purchases. I know we all do online shopping and if you are like me, you probably spend way too many hours jumping back and forth from site to site, trying to find coupons codes and extra discounts and free shipping. You probably also go back to the same website to check out the same products just to see if the prices are reduced. I know you do. And guess what? We don’t have to do that anymore. Seriously!

The brains behind the website are Lauren Jung and Atul Singh, friends who realized that there had to be an easier way to shop and monitor prices than to spend all day, every day, on your computer. TheShelf.com does it all for you. Partnering with your favorite stores, you can now shop online and “shelf” the products you are interested in. Once shelved on your personal page, you get notified if the price on that item goes down. I think I’m seriously in love with this site.

Once you start shelving items, you’ll probably wind up with a site that looks like this…

And you can name your shelves anything you want. You can have a personal clothing shelf, a gift shelf, even one for your kids. Plus, there are many of your favorite stores already hooked up with TheShelf.com and more are being added all the time.

This shows the Promo Dashboard where you can find all the coupon codes and special deals each store is having at any given time. This makes shopping SO SO SO much easier.

So… pretty cool so far, isn’t it? Well, wait! There’s more!

You can also SHARE all of this shopping goodness with your friends. You can post to Facebook and share with all of them, or just let your BFF’s see what you have shelved. You can ask their opinions on outfits and deals… you can even have people vote on their favorite look.
