In case you’ve been living under a rock, today is Election Day. If you have decided that you aren’t going to vote today, I completely understand. There are NO good candidates. Whether you are Republican or Democrat, the politicians currently running for office haven’t offered one decent idea on how they plan to change our current economical situation.
This is what I hear: HE IS BAD…. SHE IS BAD…. HE DIDN’T DO THIS AND THAT…. SHE DIDN’T DO THIS AND THAT….
Seriously?????
For once I would like these people think about US! I would really like to hear what their ideas are. Has anybody EVER offered real, practical ideas on how to fix the mess we’re in?
To be honest, I really don’t care who voted or didn’t vote. I don’t care what you paid yourself or your staff. I don’t care that you hired an illegal alien. I don’t care that you want to CHANGE!!!!!
What I NEED to know is HOW you are going to CHANGE!!!!!!
Please, please, please someone pass a law that says campaigns are no longer allowed to talk smack about opponents. I DON’T CARE!!!! If every person running for political office was only allowed to share their ideas and plans for their political post, then maybe the citizens of the United States would have some real, hard facts to form their voting opinions.
This is all bull! Nothing ever changes… things might get better… things might get worse… but really, wouldn’t it all end up being the same regardless of who was in office?
So why do I bother to vote? Maybe because I still cling to the hope that one day we’ll have someone in a political office who will actual care. I vote because I like to complain. A lot. And in my personal view, I have no right to complain about anything unless I am part of the solution. Voting is the solution. I am voicing my opinion… and THAT gives me the right to complain when things don’t go right. If you don’t vote… YOU HAVE NO RIGHT WHATSOEVER TO COMPLAIN ABOUT YOUR GOVERNMENT!!!!!

Nonsense. There is no choice. Both sides are liars-the only difference is which side they're lying to. Voting does nothing, means nothing, and voting does *not* determine who goes into office or what laws pass or don't pass-all that has been determined ahead of time, and the difference between the most disparate candidates is virtually nil when it comes to what they do (not what they say).
Voting is for schmucks who haven't figured out that the powerful never let others have power but find it very convenient to let them think they have it.
I echoed these very thoughts to my wife. I told her that these ads are nothing but attacks on the other candidates. NONE of the ads tell us what their stance is on the issues, or what they are going to to if they're elected, or HOW they're going to do it. I haven't heard one ad either in writing or speech that says what the candidate stands for…..all the ads do nothing but try to point out the faults of the others. I am TIRED of it….and I voted.
I voted yesterday. I put my two cents in, so to speak. And I, too, feel that only those who participated in the process really have the right to complain. Those who didn't vote? - Keep your mouth shut! Or, move to another country…
Anonymous should stop hiding behind that title and be man or woman to stand up for their ideas by identifying themselves! If you truly believe what you say, you should move to another country run by a dictator. Our political system is not perfect but I would not want to live in a country where I could not participate in the process of electing our leaders. Voting is a privilege and a right. If you truly think that people who voted are schmucks, you are worse than that and I would stoop to your level of name-calling.
