It’s Wednesday. The third day of my room makeover and I’m a little sad to say the only things I accomplished today (room-wise) are that I bought a new paintbrush and I managed to get to Ikea to buy the furniture.
I love Ikea furniture for kids because it’s affordable and you don’t panic when they end up ruining it by deciding they need to carve their name in the wood with the point of a scissor… or they decide that Sharpies are just like pencils and they can always be erased later (NOT)! Not that I would have any experience in this.
Since I spent half of my day at a School Board meeting and the other half picking up kids and driving to Ikea, I really didn’t get anything else done today. That leaves me 2 days to finish painting and put the furniture together. I’m getting scared.
