When you are getting married, you register for gifts.

When you have a baby you register for gifts.

Why don’t we register for gifts for other occasions?  The way I see it is that Mother’s Day is coming up and while all the handmade gifts and cards from the kids are cute and sentimental, I have to admit there are things… yes, actually “things” that I want.  I’m starting my own registry.  I would encourage you all to do the same.  Really, it’s a gift to my family.  This way they can see exactly what I want.

1. I want an Epiphanie Camera Bag.  It must be the Belle style and it must be Pink.

2. I want a Survival of the Hippest custom necklace with my twitter name on it.  Just to be clear, by twitter name is NOT Mom, Mommy, Honey or Carolyn…. it is @temysmom!

3. I want an iPhone. (Yes, I do realize I need to wait until next fall when my plan is up for renewal, but I still want it NOW.)

4. I want an iPad. (Do I need to explain?)

5. Gift Certificate to Bare Escentuals.  (Because it’s my favorite makeup.)

6. Cubby Organizer from Pottery Barn. (Because I’ve been drooling over it for a year.)
