David spent $10 buying lottery tickets and we won $11. For those of you mathematically challenged… that’s a profit… PROFIT… of $1.00!
Don’t go getting too excited. I’ve been wracking my brain to come up with things I could actually buy for $1.00.

Ummm… yea, that’s about it.
Considering the jackpot is now up to a half billion (BILLION) dollars… I’m pretty sure that $1.00, along with the original $10.00 we spent, will all be going towards more Lotto tickets. Easy come… easy go.

When my husband and I were recently driving cross country we bought a few powerball tickets for a big jackpot. We knew there was powerball in lots of states, so we figured if we won, we could cash in wherever we were at. Apparently that’s not true and sure enough, we won….$7…in Tennessee. Only to realize it several states away. Of course, we spent $10 on the tickets, so you will this round.
