I was selected to be a model for The Perfect Peel. In exchange for photos and testimonials, I am receiving a complimentary peel (a $500 value).
I hate my skin.
After having horrible acne for years and worshiping the sun a little too much, my skin is scarred and blotchy and looks horrible without make-up. I’m fortunate for my age (47) that I don’t have a ton of wrinkles, but I can’t really go out without makeup on and I hate wearing makeup. I want soft, smooth, even-toned skin. Not sure it can be done.
Several dermatologists have recommended a peel, but they are definitely costly and I am one of those people who will only spend money if I’m guaranteed it will work. Of course, nothing in life is guaranteed, so I’ve been putting it off and trying to come up with other options to improve my skin. Nothing is working. So… when I was offered The Perfect Peel… I didn’t hesitate to say YES. And then, about a day later, I hesitated. OMG… am I really doing this? Am I going to let someone put acid on my face and have it all peel off? Really? What am I thinking?
But… my friend Jackie did it and her skin is stunning. I want stunning skin. Okay, I’ll settle for skin that is even a little better than what I have now. So, I’m doing it.
I’m getting the peel done today. Jackie will be there taking my “before” picture (and hopefully holding my hand). I’m so exited. And nervous. But mostly excited.
If you’re lucky you might even get a vlog out of me.
Ok now I want to see the after pictures! Hope they do get a vlog out of you 😀
I can’t wait to see!
