So I sat down at my computer this morning ready to jot down my daily pearls of wisdom. Then I thought better of it. Seriously, who needs to blog every single day? Yes, I want to build up my blog but even mommy bloggers need a break every now and then. So I decided to take Sunday off. I look forward to Sunday morning all week long. It’s my chance to actually sit down with my cup of coffee, eat breakfast with the family and then send the kids off to their rooms while I enjoy my Sunday newspaper.
Yes, I clip coupons.
Yes, I do the Crossword and Sudoko.
Yes, I check out the travel section to dream of all the places I’ll never go.
Yes, I pass the sports section directly to my husband.
Yes, I check the median listings for homes in my city and get depressed that my house which was once worth a fortune is now worth next to nothing.
So, if I don’t wanna post a blog today… I don’t have to.
Oh… look what I did here. I posted a blog!
Lol, I remember the days when we actually got the Sunday paper (the local paper is really not worth the money or the paper it's printed on). But, way back when, this sounded much like my routine (minus the blog).
Sounds like my Sunday with the paper. Thanks for supporting my journalist husband by continuing the Sunday morning ritual of the paper!
