Are you a list maker? Come on… fess up… how many do you have going at any one time?
I’m re-organizing my lists right now.
I’ve got my day-to-day to-do list.
I’ve got my bat mitzvah to-do list.
I’ve got my blogging/work to-do list.
I’ve got my goal setting list.
I think I’m spending so much time working on my lists that I end up not having enough time to actually DO the things on the list.
My new philosophy… actually be able to check-off at least ONE thing on each list each day. AND… if I add something to the list, I have to make sure I cross out the same number of items that I add. Gotta get these lists under control.
Tell me… what are YOUR tips to check those items off your list?

I have 3 — one that lives on my iPhone that is personal, one on my desk at work that I update all day, each day, and one for my blog on Evernote that I can update anywhere I am, in case the random idea strikes me. Evernote, by the way, is the best. tool. ever.
You know, I actually have an account set up with Evernote and I know people rave about it but I’ve never figured out how to use it. You’ll have to give me a lesson.
I’m not a list person, maybe once in awhile for groceries if I am making a recipe, but otherwise it gets too depressing to see everything I never get to crpss off. But my husband is the polar opposite. I once saw a list he made that actually had as one of the items “make list”! And he puts things on it that he was never going to forget to do, like “take shower”. Very silly!

Now that is an obsessed list maker. My husband doesn’t make lists - instead, he writes everything on post-it notes and sticks them up all over his computer/desk/office - I’ll have to take a pic of it sometimes. It’s ridiculous.
I’m all about lists. I don’t feel like I get anything accomplished unless I can see it on paper and be able to check it off.

Yes, I feel the same way. It’s a huge accomplishment to cross off something on a list.
HAHA I live on lists. And then I lose them.
I end up using Evernote mostly because it’s the best tool to keep me honest about my lists. ^_^

I make lists on my phone and then delete as I go. It’s as good as crossing off.
