Just when you think you’ll have a little time to yourself… BAM! Your inbox is flooded with opportunities, your kid gets sick and you find yourself drowning in housework again. Story of my life.
This has been another busy week (aren’t they all?) and I don’t even get my weekend to relax. I’ll be over at the Natural Foods Expo tomorrow checking out the great products and learning a little more about Kopali, the real reason I’m heading down to Anaheim. I can’t wait.
Tonight is our Temple’s Purim play and all three of my kids are performing in it. I’ve been busy this week with rehearsals and making props.
Today, I’m co-hosting a twitter chat on Puberty & Periods. I love twitter chats.
I found out this week that I won a prize for my La Romanella Lemon Chicken Pasta recipe that I did for Smart & Final. That was awesome!
The next few days I’ll be updating my living room for spring - check back next week to see what I did to turn my dreary old room into something bright and cheerful (I hope).
And… I’ve got a bunch of ideas for blog posts for another site I write for, Ooph.com. If you haven’t seen them yet, go check them out - awesome tips and articles on all things tweens and teens.
Next week my girls have 4 minimum days and Friday off. If you are a parent, you know that means that I will probably be tearing my hair out because nothing is getting accomplished.
I have one more week before my Diet Bet is over. I have to say I AM down a few pounds but I still haven’t reached my goal. So close but so far away. Next Saturday is my final weigh-in and I will kick myself if I don’t win my money back.
I feel like I can barely catch my breath. No wonder I’ve been passing out at 9pm every night. I’m TIRED!

Been there. Well not literally except for voting for your awesome recipe. But I seem to never be ahead enough to enjoy it for more than 48 hours.
It’s a vicious cycle. When I have nothing to do I’m complaining about not working… and when I do have work, I complain about not having any free time. Life of a parent.
