Two brands I am a devoted fan of, Aveeno® and Clean & Clear®, have teamed up to make going back to school for Moms & Daughters stress-free by taking the guesswork out of skin care worries. Lucky for me… they wanted me to hold a spa party! Spa? Party? I’m IN!
I invited some of my daughters friends over, as well as some of my own friends, to try out some skin care products… and have a little afternoon tea.
My 13 year old has had some pretty serious skin issues and going back to school always adds a lot of stress onto her already troubled skin. We have been using the Clean & Clear facial cleanser for a while now and all of my girls really love it. With three girls washing faces twice a day, we go through A LOT of product! We have tried almost everything out there, but this is really the only thing they like. I know they were really excited to be able to try out the entire line of skin care products.
I have to say, Aveeno has been my own personal lotion of choice for a long time as well. I always have a bottle at my bedside. The girls might be stressing about going back to school, but it’s just as stressful for the Moms as well. Combine that with horrible heat here in California and I can’t wait to crawl into bed at the end of the day and lather some lotion into my tired and dried out hands and feet.
All of the girls complained about their skin being an issue for them and they were excited about trying out the Clean & Clear products.
It was unanimous that all the girls AND the Moms loved the Aveeno® Ultra-Calming® Makeup Removing Wipes. They were really soft and took everything off and smelled really good. I had samples to pass out to the adults, but the kids wanted them as well. We’ll be heading to the store.
They also tried the Clean & Clear® Advantage® Daily Soothing Acne Scrub and the Clean & Clear® Blackhead Eraser™ Cleansing Mask, and loved them all. The real winner of the day, however, was the Clean & Clear® Advantage® Acne Spot Treatment. They kind of went nuts for this product. As soon as they read that it reduced pimples in just four hours, they were fighting over the stuff. One of my daughter’s friends took it home and used it at night and said her pimple was totally gone. I think I might have just sold a few cases to all the girls in the junior high.
But… this day wasn’t just about the girls. MY friends were able to try out the awesome Aveeno® Daily Moisturizing Lotion and the Aveeno® Stress Relief Body Wash.
We all loved how the lotion worked really fast and everything just smelled so good. Scent is a huge part of beauty products. If it doesn’t smell good, we don’t use it. I thought it was really interesting that the adults still use many of the beauty products they used as teens. I guess if you find something that works, you stay loyal to the product. That’s probably why I bought my kids the Clean & Clear Facial Cleansers to begin with… and why I still always have that bottle of Aveeno lotion by my bed.
We had such an amazing afternoon. We really should get together more often. It also might be one of the last times our daughters actually want to spend time with us. See, Temera… Moms can be cool too.
