The Natural Products Expo West was held way back in March 2014, but with so many amazing people I met and products I’ve tried, it’s taken me a while to sort through it all to bring you the best of the best. I’m going to share with you over a few blog posts some of the really amazing products I fell in love with.
Boomchickapop - Say what? How can you not love the name of this? My first taste of the Expo was walking up the driveway to the Anaheim Convention Center and seeing THIS…
A large purple truck with pink letters is kind of hard to miss, you know? It immediately put a smile on my face and I wondered what on earth Boomchickapops were. Boomchickapop is the latest offering from Angie’s Popcorn. The company, founded in 2001 by husband and wife entrepreneurs Dan and Angie Bastian, began as an outdoor vendor operation that sold Angie’s classic Sweet & Salty kettle corn recipe. The new Boomchickapop™ Sweet & Salty is the latest in a line that includes flavors like Sea Salt, Lightly Sweet, White Cheddar and Caramel & Cheddar Popcorn Mix. The people at Angie’s were so amazing and sent me a box of all their flavors to try out.
To say I was excited was an understatement. My kids did NOT let me near these… I was lucky if I got a handful of each flavor. I have to say the combination Caramel & Chedder is OMG Awesome. Can I please get a confirmation from Angie’s that the bag you sent me was ONE serving only? Because I dare anybody to not finish the entire bag in one sitting. Lauryn commandeered a bag herself… because eating Boomchickapops goes so well with reading Nancy Drew books.
Angie’s Popcorn is free of trans fats and preservatives, are Kosher and Gluten-Free certified, and are made form non-GMO popcorn. And may I say they are just plain delish!

The first time I had Boom Chicka Pop, I was blown away. Like…popcorn is THIS good! It’s definitely different than other popcorn. No doubt about it!
