This past weekend we celebrated my mother’s 70th birthday. While birthdays are usually fun times, buying birthday presents always presents a problem. (Like how I used presents twice in once sentence?) So I racked my brain to come up with a gift that would be appropriate for my Mom. Enter Paper Coterie. I didn’t really know much about the company prior to BlogHer, but I was given a personalized journal at BlogHer and loved it so much that I came home and checked up on the company.
One of the things I found that they did was print up customized recipe books. Bingo! I think I had just found my birthday present idea.
I went and gathered all the family recipes that we loved best and after trying to input all the information several times (there is a bit of a learning curve), I came up with the finished product.
I was able to upload a picture for the front as well as several other pictures on the inside. My brother had this picture scanned in his computer and it was perfect. The little girl in the front of the picture is my Mom and the man in the hat sitting next to her is my grandfather.
I received a free product from Paper Coterie but was under no obligation to write about the company. All opinions are my own. #papercoterie
Dear Carolyn,
This is the best way to thank you for the perfect gift! Wonderful photos of me and my grandchildren, all relating to cooking/food/meals. Great choice of recipes.
I love you dearly,
Mom
You finally figured out how to comment.
Wow – I actually love that! I’ll have to check into them and see what other products they have, too.
Such a sweet, sentimental gift, Carolyn! xoxo
They have calendars and journals… all can be personalized. Really does make the perfect gift.
(Lol on previous reply to Judith…)
What a beautiful present for your mom and family to enjoy. I hope you kept a copy for yourself to hand down to the girls, etc.
