I don’t put much weight into blogging awards as a rule. Most of them floating around out there are based on popularity, not any real indication of who is the “best”… just who can drum up the most votes. But… I was just given the Liester Blog Award. Never heard of it? Me either. It doesn’t matter. What matters is that the woman who bestowed this honor on me did so because she counts my blog as one of her favorites. And THAT is a price beyond rubies. I’m honored when anyone even reads my blog, much less feels that it deserves an award. Thank you Jamie – you have become a true friend and I’m excited that you were also bestowed this award for your blog, Minnesota Girl in LA. If you didn’t already have it… I’d be giving it to you for sure.

I think this award is truly great because it’s a nice surprise when we receive it, but also, it gives us a look into other blogs we may have missed throughout our journeys =)
