Crock Pot Hot Chocolate is quite possibly the most scrumptious thing I’ve ever had. I don’t remember where I first heard about this, but I’m pretty sure it was on Facebook… or Pinterest. I just knew that I had to try it. Pretty much all the recipes I found were the same so this isn’t created by me, but you can find this anywhere you look online.
Ingredients:
1 14 oz. can sweetened condensed milk
1 1/2 cups heavy whipping cream (not to be confused with actual whipped cream)
6 cups milk (I use lowfat milk which makes the chocolate rich enough, I promise)
2 cups chocolate chips (I use the semi-sweet chips, but you can also use milk chocolate chips or white chocolate chips) For REALLY chocolately hot chocolate, add more chips. I think the first time I made this I added more like 3 cups and my family kind of went nuts of it.
Just put all the ingredients into a crock pot, cover and turn to low. Let it all simmer for 2 hours, stirring occasionally just to mix up all the chocolate chips. After 2 hours you’ll have the yummiest hot chocolate I’ve ever tasted. Seriously!
I just bought my brother a crockpot for his birthday and asked him I could borrow it back…. LOL
That looks so good! I can’t wait until it gets cold enough here that I could make a batch and people would drink it all, saving me from having to not let it go to waste by drinking more! 😉
OMG that sounds like chocolate heaven.
This does it; I have GOT to get a crock pot!
